The project is a FIFA compliant 25,000 spectators stadium which is also part of a mixed use development. MHA acted as Architectural of Record on the project. The initial appointment was with Broadwaymalyan then the role continued continued into the construction stage as BAM International became the Design Build contractor.

The main input MHA had was to help keep the design as designed by Pattern Architect intact by pro-actively negotiating all aspects of the design with the authorities including Civil Defenset as well as the Architectural and Structural departments at Al Ain Municipality. MHA’s role was important in the construction stage by being involved in the supervision and accordingly allocating a site team to carry out inspections and to liaise with the authorities during their own inspections and sign offs leading to a Building Completion Certificate.

The Stadium now stands out or an iconic structure in the city of Al Ain and has become a symbol of pride for the Al Ain Football Club and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Many Events including games featuring star internal teams such as Manchester City are being held in the venue and spectators express their comfort in the stands and appreciate the general ambiance of this stadium.
