The overall concept of the villa is in tune with the character and design criteria of Saadiyat Island. Mediterranean design was chosen to be the basis for the overall massing and coloration in addition to becoming the intended theme for most of the intricacies in the details. There is substantial use of red tile roofing, arches, classical columns while maintaining painted walls finishes. The rich landscaping and water features bring the mood even closer to particular characteristics which include a special Moroccan seating surrounded by the external water element which is chosen to be level with the adjacent landscaping. This is also supplemented with many other features within the whole composition of the house that enhance the intended character of the villa.
