The design of a plaza within the Masdar Development right in front of the prestigious Space Agency building.
Based on a concept design provided by Masdar for the Visitor’s Center, MHA have worked with Terra International Construction to develop the schematic and detailed designs of the project.
The plaza is developed to integrate outdoor thermal comfort strategies aimed to create a man-made interpretation of the environmental features of the UAE that provide a unique public realm experience. Distinct landscape typology transition the user from Coast, Oasis, Wadi and Mountain environments. A special feature is the iconic tent structure within the space that reflects the character of the project.
